Romania is a very interesting country for scuba diving,
although its open or closed waters are not warm, nor clear. Romanian
water characteristics are typical for a temperate continental country.
The Romanian Black Sea coast is favorable for scuba diving along its
southern shores, next to the Bulgarian border. Lakes are numerous, the
mountain glacial lakes in the South Carpathians being indeed clear.
Dam lakes are also interesting for deep diving. Caves are very numerous
in Romania, and many have active galleries, extremely interesting for
cve diving, which makes Romania a hot spot for cave diving.
Scuba diving in the Caribbeans (Grand
Cayman and Cozumel)
I could dive in the "West Indies", where I found
Grand Cayman as a fantastic spot for diving. Cozumel, in Mexico, is
also a gorgeous diving spot.
