Paleozoic and Mesozoic continental formations of Romania
Plant bearing continental formations, both Paleozoic and Mesozoic in age are presented and illustrated. A series of important paleobotanical sites in Romania, such as the Anina SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), and the Secu SSSI, is presented with regard to their geology: structures, depositional environments, stratigraphy, paleoecology.
