In June 2010, freshmen and sophomores of the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, University of Bucharest, went to Bigar, Caras-Severin County, for the summer field course in Geology. Although the weather was not the best, we had plenty of reasons for being happy and enchanted by Almaj, by Bigar and by its wonderful geology. A written log was kept by Bogdana Radu.
